What is Octordle?

Eight hidden words, thirteen guesses. Octordle takes the multi-board Wordle idea to the extreme, so plan your guesses carefully to cover as many letters as possible.

Octordle is a free daily word game. Everyone gets the same puzzle each day, so it's easy to compare results with friends.

How to play Octordle

  1. Type a five-letter word. Your guess goes on all eight boards at once.
  2. Each board gives its own green, yellow and gray feedback, just like Wordle.
  3. Solve all eight hidden words within 13 guesses.

Octordle tips

  • Spend your first three or four guesses covering as many different common letters as possible.
  • Once a board is close, finish it off. Each solved word frees up more guesses for the rest.
