Wordle with numbers. Guess the hidden eight-character equation in six tries, using digits and math symbols. Every guess has to be a valid calculation.

How to play Nerdle

  1. Guess the hidden eight-character calculation, using numbers and the symbols + - * / =.
  2. Every guess must be a valid calculation, such as 10*3-2=28.
  3. Tiles turn green, purple or black to show correct, misplaced or unused characters. Solve it in six guesses.

Nerdle tips

  • Standard order of operations applies: multiply and divide before you add and subtract.
  • The answer can sit on the right of the equals sign, and "=" is usually in the sixth or seventh position.
  • Use your first guesses to test lots of different digits.
